Walking For ESAR

On Friday 9th June 2017 the husband will be completing a 33.8 km (21 mile) walk around Chelmsford.
He will walk solo using the public footpaths that make up ‘The Centenary Circle’ route.
Alongside the personal achievement of completion, he aims to raise some money for Essex Lowland Search and Rescue, a charity primarily working in Essex, who assist the Police (Essex Police) in the search for vulnerable missing people (which can often include young children, diabetics, dementia sufferers etc).
The members are skilled volunteers who are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ready at a moments notice to leave their loved ones and head out to help others in need.
He will be using the View Ranger tracking app, with his buddy beacon on for safety purposes, and also so that I can monitor his progress and share updates on his Just Giving page throughout the day.
The Centenary Circle walk can be found on the Essex Walks website, and is split into five parts for a more leisurely pace.
